The 1970s ushered in a new pastime for America’s youth: driving around, hanging out, and looking shaggy.
With the Baby Boomers coming of age and the expansion of suburbia, the seventies were a Golden Age for teens with free time and a driver’s license. Go back and relive the days of lazing around in the sun, listening to classic rock, and cruising around in a gas-guzzling, American-made car.
Honestly, a successful sitcom could be made based on the vibe of these photos.
